Webservices.org: Colin Adam's news-based Web Services resource site, concentrating mainly on getting the up-to-date information about Web Services from all sections of the industry.
TheServerSide: The Middleware Company's site for the J2EE community; a useful resource site with up-to-date news, articles and discussion forums.
IBM developerWorks: The developerWorks site has a specialized Web Services Zone dedicated to the subject, updated frequently with insider news and articles from seasoned IBM professionals.
Application-Servers: French resource site for the J2EE community; information for developers and architects using Web Services, Java technologies and XML.
MSDN Online Web Services Developer Resources: Microsoft's site documents and outlines the company's position regarding Web Services, with news items, press releases, and links to various newsgroups and mailing lists.
ITWorks: A General information site with a section about Web Services, with news items and links.
Soap-wrc: James Snell, IBM Web Services Insider, presents his Web Services resource site: "the purpose of this site is to offer members of the SOAP development community a centralized location to share news, links and resources relating to SOAP and Webservice development on any platform capable of hosting XML application architectures".
Advisor: General information site, which includes good articles on Web Services.
Techmetrix: A general information site with a few articles pertaining to Web Services and SOAP.
W3C Workshop: A list of industry position papers from various insiders, taken from the W3C Workshop on Web Services in San Jose (11-12 April, 2001).
Cfoinfo: The site focuses on the world of Web Services from a business perspective, providing news and resources for business managers who need to understand, find or evaluate Web Services for use in their business.
Iona TechZone: Iona has set aside a section of its site dedicated jointly to XML and Web Services, includes featured news items, whitepapers, articles, and links.
CapeScience: CapeScience provides news, tutorials and technology related to Web Services. The site is hosted and maintained by Cape Clear Software, providers of Web Services technology.
CBDi Forum: Large list of articles and recent news items related almost exclusively to Web Services. The article abstracts can be read free of charge, but a subscription fee is required in order to read the full content.
DevXpert: The site includes a short list of free Web Services related articles.
The Stencil Group: An offshoot of the main Stencil Group site, a research project aimed at exploring the Web Services area. This embryonic site includes only a few articles at the moment but more will follow shortly.

UDDI.org: The UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration) resource site, for all your UDDI information needs, includes PDF whitepaper downloads.
ebXML.org ebXML.org, sponsored by UN/CEFACT and OASIS, provides information and resources to enable enterprises of any size, in any geographical location to conduct business over the Internet.
XML.org: XML.org is a centralized portal and a valuable and leading resource to technologists, developers and business people developing purpose-built XML languages. It provides public access to XML information and XML Schemas.
XML.com: O’Reilly’s XML.com features fast-breaking news, tutorials, in-depth analysis and solid reference works for XML developers. It introduces you to the latest XML tools and demonstrates XML techniques using languages such as Perl, Java and Python.

Top XML: Top XML is a three-year old XML community where developers can contribute content, share source code and learn. Top XML provides over 15,000 pages of XML content and well over 100 free XML downloads.

VBWS: VBWS is dedicated to providing Web Services resources for VB developers. Yasser Shohoud founded VBWS as a community for VB developers building and using Web Services.
Hailstorm: The Microsoft site brings us the official announcement from Bill Gates about the next element of his .NET strategy, Hailstorm.
Developmentor: A more technical orientated page on Developmentor's site about SOAP, includes useful article information and an FAQ section.
Sun One: Sun Microsystems have a small subsection of their site geared towards Web Services, with a little bit of general information and a lot of interesting vendor specific information.
Soap Client: A useful resource site covering a wide range of topics which have importance in the world of Web Services, but concentrating on SOAP.
Soap Lite: SOAP resource page with useful links, but targeted towards programmers and developers.
C# Station: C# Station provides information, links, and other resources for programming in C#.

SalCentral: The world's largest brokerage for schemas, reviews and quality assurance information on Web Services.Provides a Web Services search engine.
Xmethods: Xmethods is a site dedicated to promoting the development, deployment, and use of Web Services, offers (amongst other things) a directory of Web Services and a discussion forum.
XMLBus.com: In the words of the company themselves, XMLBus.com is "a resource for people who are interested in Web Services and want to learn more about Web Services technology. XMLBus.com provides online tools to Browse UDDI and to dynamically test Web Services running on XMLBus.com or elsewhere on the Internet".
Microsoft UDDI: Microsoft's UDDI directory, with information about UDDI (and registering for UDDI).
